Why I’m Running
Our community deserves a leader who listens, who understands our values, and will fight for public policies that benefit and protect residents across our state. I believe it is time to take a stand against Lansing’s failure to prioritize the safety of our neighborhoods, the happiness and success of our residents, and the future of our children.
We need public servants who are willing to fight for our community’s shared values. As a mother of two young children, I am committed to building a bright future for our next generation. Our kids deserve a Michigan where they can be safe and healthy, receive a world-class education, and be treated with respect.
I was born and raised Downriver in a working-class community. As the daughter of small business owners, I learned the value of education, initiative and hard work. Raising my family in Birmingham, my daughters are learning the value of their village, in the way our neighbors come together to support each other, from the bus stop, to the park, to the coffee shop.
